Philosophy, Rhetoric, and Argumentation

These selected essays offer new insight in the theory of philosophical argumentation and the relationship of rhetoric and philosophy. In addition, the two introductions represent new and valuable contributions to the problems of the nature and forms of argumentation and the nature of man as a "talking animal." The topics have aroused much interest, and the present work will come as a welcome addition to the literature.
