Plato On Immortality

A contemporary analysis of the arguments in the Phaedo from the perspective of more than 2,000 years of "running footnotes." The author argues judiciously and persuasively for the manifold issues that arise in the analysis and interpretation of Plato's doctrine on immortality. An understanding of religion and theology as well as philosophy distinguishes the work from other treatments.
