Greetings from Graphic Mundi!
Just in time for Pride Month, we’re pleased to announce the publication of Gay Mormon Dad by Chad Anderson and Remy Burke. It’s being hailed as “layered and triumphant” (Foreword Reviews) and full of “hard-won insights for fans of queer memoir” (PW). I can’t think of a more fitting book for Pride Month: It’s beautifully illustrated, heartfelt, and full of determination. You’ll come away from this read with a good hit of joy and resilience. Couldn’t we all use a bit of each?
June is a busy travel month for the Mundi team. We’ll be at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival June 5–7, where Chad Anderson, Maureen Burdock, and Rachel Thomas will be signing their books. Look for them, too, in the programming for Libraries and Education Day and during the festival. We hope to see you at the Mundi book display!
Then we’ll be back on the road attending the American Library Association in Chicago, June 25–29. Our featured creators there will be MK Czerwiec, Chad Anderson, and Sydney Halpern. Halpern’s book Infected for Science is hot off the presses and the recipient of not one but two starred reviews—in Booklist and Library Journal! Check out the ALA program to learn where to find them and stop by the Graphic Mundi display to see what else is new and noteworthy!
